Honkai Impact 3 - Murata Himeko: Battle Storm Character Guide

Murata Himeko is a 27 year old Japanese Valkyrie. Himeko is a Major of 5th Combat Division and the Previous Captain of levitation warship Hyperion. Himeko excels in the combat art of Greatsword. Himeko's Battle Storm form excels at middle-range, has a high DPS and good at shield breaking. Also good at suppressing the enemy and has an extremely high damage reduction during charged attacks. You need to collect 10 fragments to unlock Battle Storm Himeko. Battle Storm is a Creature type variation of Murata Himeko, it is strong against Psychic types and weak against Mecha types.

Skills Guide

Leader Skill: Stand By

Whenever Battle Storm Himeko is designated as squad leader, the whole team receives the Stand By buff which reduces the whole team's melee physical damage taken by 16%.

• Stand By: At max level, decreases the whole team's melee physical damage taken by 24%.

Passive Skill

Battle Storm Himeko's passive skill makes her receive boost automatically from Courage, Crush and Fire Blow.

• Courage: At max level, Courage decreases character's elemental damage taken by 35%.
• Crush: At max level, basic and charged attacks have a 10% chance of stunning the target for 3 seconds.
• Fire Blow: At max level, Fire Blow ignites the enemy upon breaking its shield, dealing 150 fire damage every 0.5 second for 5.0 seconds.

Evasion Skills: Time Sprint

Battle Storm Himeko's evasion skill makes her roll to evade enemy attacks. Every successfully executed Ultimate Evasion, Time Fracture triggers and all enemies will be slowed down for 3 seconds. Time Fracture has a cooldown of 15 seconds. The skill Gale also activates during Time Fracture which increases Himeko's Movement Speed by 40% for 3 seconds after an Ultimate Evasion.

• Speed Charge: At max level, Speed Charge increases charging speed by 100% during the Time Fracture triggered by own evasion.
• Keen: At max level, decreases cooldown of Time Fracture by 1.5 seconds.

Basic Attack: Heavy Sword

Battle Storm Himeko's basic attack is a charged attack using a greatsword. Basic Attack deals physical damage equal to 150% + 250% of Attack. 1st Charged Attack deals physical damage equal to 350% + 550% of Attack. 2nd Charged Attack deals physical damage equal to 500% + 680% of Attack. To do basic attack, tap the Attack button to charge up to 2 separate times. Tapping the Attack button after the first strike can attack an additional time.

• Frontal Assault: At max level, Frontal Assault increases Ignore Interrupt during charged attacks. Blocks 75% of incoming physical damage and is immune to stun, freeze and paralyze caused by frontal attacks. Weakens the blocked attacker for 8 seconds and decreases its Attack by 60%.
• Fire Wield: At max level, Fire Wield makes Himeko's basic, charged and sprint attacks deal an additional 580 fire damage upon landing a critical strike.
• Fearless: At max level, Fearless decreases physical damage taken by 50% when charging.

Ultimate: Tornado Storm

Battle Storm Himeko's ultimate spins the weapon to attack surrounding enemies. Deals physical damage equal to 7 x 80% of Attack to surrounding enemies. The last strike deals physical damage equal to 400% of Attack and sends enemies floating. Attracts nearby enemies when activated. Tornado Storm requires 50 points of SP to use.

• Fire Storm: At max level, each attack deals an additional 240 fire damage when Tornado Storm is active.
• Final Blow: At max level, Tornado Storm's last strike deals additional physical damage equal to 250% of Attack and stuns enemy for 5.0 seconds.

Special Attack: Gale Forward

Battle Storm Himeko's combo skill attacks while dashing using sweeping strikes. To execute Sprint Attack, tap the Attack button while sprinting to attack enemies with sweeping strikes, dealing physical damage equal to 450% of Attack to enemies in a large area.

• Switch Skill - Down Cleave: At max level, cleaves downwards upon entering the battle, knocking down enemies within range and dealing physical damage equal to 450% of Attack.

• QTE - Whirlwind: At max level, triggers QTE upon entering the battle when enemy is paralyzed. Attacks the target with Whirlwind, dealing physical damage equal to (5 x 100%) + 200% of Attack to enemies surrounding the target and knocking them back.

Weapons Guide

The following values of weapon physical damage, elemental damage, percentage and time values are the maximum values attainable when the respective weapons are upgraded to their maximum star and level.

Early Game

Vanguard comes highly recommended at early game. This weapon comes with the skill Valkyrie Impact which gives Himeko extra AoE firepower.

• Vanguard: There was once a trooper squad of Valkyries, in which every member carried a broadsword and fought at the front lines of the battles against the Honkai. The Vanguards are their standard weapons. Himeko used to be part of this team as well as 6 years ago. This weapon comes with the skill Valkyrie Impact which allows the wielder to cleave downwards to generate a ground-breaking wave, sending enemies in it's path into the air and dealing physical damage equal to 450% of Attack.

Late Game

Ghostslayer Nagamitsu or Balmung, either one of these two weapons comes highly recommended for late game. Ghostslayer Nagamitsu is the weapon of choice if you want damage boost without consuming SP. Choose Balmung if you want steady damage boost at a cost of SP.

• Ghostslayer Nagamitsu: Back in the era of the Warring States, a grey-haired traveller slayed the Honkai beast "Demon Ox", which appeared in the lands of the Far East, and Nagamitsu, the bladesmith, created this great katana with the claws of the Demon Ox. This weapon comes with the skills Kageryuu Blade Art and Sharp Edge. Kageryuu Blade Art allows the wielder to start charging energy upon sprint. When the duration of the sprint reaches 0.5 second, 1.5 seconds and 3 seconds, generates an explosion at the spot of the first enemy hit by this attack, dealing physical damage equal to 400%, 600% and 800% respectively. Sharp Edge increases physical damage by 32% upon generating a combo with fewer that 5 hits.

• Balmung: Part of the "Gods" weapon series, produced by the Schicksal using "Soul Steel". The blade is composed completely with Honkai energy. It cuts through anything and everything, even the scales of the legendary dragons. Balmung comes with the skill Ultra Slash - Haze and Ultra Slash - Break. Ultra Slash - Haze unleashes Ultra Slash to attack enemies to the front, dealing physical damage equal to 80% of Attack. 15% chance of unleashing Enhanced Ultra Slash, dealing physical damage equal to 160% of Attack. Ultra Slash - Haze cooldown is 0.8 seconds. Ultra Slash - Break increases the wielder's physical damage by 25% and turns all Ultra Slash into Enhanced Ultra Slashes for 8 seconds. This skill requires 20 SP to cast and has a 25 seconds cooldown.

Stigmata Guide

Early Game

The following Stigmata set is recommended for early game. The set grants one bonus skill, the Creature Master 2 Sets. Creature Master 2 Sets increases melee physical damage by 20%. Increases maximum SP during battle by an additional 10% when equipped on creature-type characters.

• Sakamoto Ryoma (T): A powerful attack-type Stigma. Can be assembled to form the Eight Laws set. A four star, level 35 Sakamoto Ryoma (T) comes with the skill Charge Enhance which increases physical damage of charged attacks by 18%.
• Elizabeth Bathory (M): A powerful defense-type Stigma. Can be assembled to form the Vampire Countess set. A four star, level 35 Elizabeth Bathory (M) comes with the skill Sword of Blessings which increases physical damage by 20% when HP is 80% or more.
• Elizabeth Bathory (B): A powerful hybrid-type Stigma. Can be assembled to form the Vampire Countess set. A four star, level 35 Elizabeth Bathory (B) comes with the skill Wind of Blessings which increases Movement Speed by 41% when HP is 80% or more.

Late Game

The following Stigmata set is recommended for late game. The set grants two bonus skills, the Blade Bless 2 Sets and the Energy Concentrate 3 Sets. The Blade Bless 2 Sets decreases the duration of negative effects by 50% and increases maximum HP during battle by an additional 20% when equipped on Mei, Yae Sakura or Himeko. Energy Concentrate 3 Sets charges once every 5 seconds. The next basic attack including combo and charged attacks increases physical damage by 80% and Critical Rate by 50% for a short period of time.

• Jixuanyuan (T): An ultimate attack-type Stigma. Can be assembled to form the Emperor Xuanyuan set. A five star, level 50 Jixuanyuan (T) comes with the skill Switch Skill Enhance which increases the physical damage of switch attacks including QTE by 62%.
• Jixuanyuan (M): An ultimate defense-type Stigma. Can be assembled to form the Emperor Xuanyuan Set. A five star, level 50 Jixuanyuan (M) comes with the skill Charge Enhance which increases physical damage of charged attacks by 36%.
• Jixuanyuan (B): An ultimate hybrid-type Stigma. Can be assembled to form the Emperor Xuanyuan set. A five star level 50 Jixuanyuan (B) comes with the skill Weapon Skill Enhance which increases damage of weapon's active skills by 41%.
