Mobile Legends: Bang Bang - Eudora "Reaper" Build and Strategy Guide

By:

Eudora is a mage who specializes in dealing huge Magical Damage and a decent single target stunner. She is also capable of sustaining DPS over multiple targets using her spell Forked Lightning and Thunderstruck. Eudora "Reaper" build focuses on achieving high Magic Power and Magical Penetration, Low skill Cooldown and Increased Movement Speed. High Magic Power,  high Magical Penetration and reduced skill Cooldown are unquestionable offensive stats you should invest on. For defense however, many prefer to increase HP, physical defense and magic resistance. This build takes a slightly different approach by using Movement Speed, Spell Vamp and player skill as the primary defense mechanism.

Eudora's Tale

Ever since she was an apprentice wizard, Eudora's special talent for controlling lightning always shocked (no pun intended) her many teachers. After a brief period of study, her teachers discovered she had already mastered all they had to teach her. Yearning to continue her progress, Eudora set foot on the road to the Land of Dawn, believing that her lightning magic could reach new heights in that turbulent land.

Skills

Eudora possess one passive skill and three active skills. The following are the descriptions and analyses of each skills.
  • Passive - Superconductor: Gives the the target a Superconductor effect which will amplify the effects of other abilities.
Analysis: If two lightning icons are on top of your opponent, Superconductor is in effect. A very good passive and is the primary foundation of this build. Superconductor reduces Magical Resistance when Forked Lightning is used, increases the duration of Electric Arrows stun and amplifies the damage of Thunderstruck.
  • AoE - Forked Lightning: Eudora casts a terrifying forked lightning to inflict 400/450/500/550/600/650 + (230% Total Magic Power) Magic Damage to enemies in a conical area in front of the hero, also causing the enemies who received a Superconductor effect to loose 15 magic resistance. Forked Lightning has an 8.5/8.0/7.5/7.0/6.5/6.0 seconds CD. It also requires 80/90/100/110/120/130 Mana to cast.
Analysis: This spell shoots bolts of lightning to enemies in front of you that are within range. The low Cooldown and a decent cast range makes Forked Lightning your bread and butter spell.
  • Crowd Control - Electric Arrow: Strikes the enemy with a bolt of lightning, dealing 280/300/320/340/360/380 + (105% Total Magic Power) Magic Damage and stunning the target for 0.75 second. Enemies who received a Superconductor effect will be stunned for an additional 0.75 second. Has a 12.0/11.0/10.0/9.0/8.0/7.0 seconds. Requires 90/100/110/120/130/140 Mana to cast.
Analysis: This is your main disable spell, use this with perfect timing. Never waste this spell on minions, best used against enemy Heroes during team fights.
  • Burst - Thunderstruck: Summons a great storm of lightning, dealing 600/880/1,190 + (270% Total Magic Power) points of Magic Damage to the target. Other enemies around the target will receive 400/550/700 + (180% Total Magic Power) points of Magic Damage. The skill will deal extra 15% of damage to enemies who are affected by Superconductor effect. Has 34.0/30.0/26.0 seconds Cooldown and requires 130/160/190 Mana to cast.
Analysis: The wrath of Eudora and Mother of all Eudora's spells! Thunderstruck is among the best ultimate spell in the game in terms of output damage. Coupled with this build's high Magic Power and Magical Penetration, it has a tendency to one shot squishy enemies. Best used during clash when your opponents are closer to each other.
Emblem

Custom Mage Emblem with Agility, Contract and Impure Rage talents is preferred for this build. However, if Custom Mage Emblem is not yet unlocked or is still low level, it is imperative that you use your highest level Emblem.

Battle Spell

This build expects Eudora to be a magical assassin, therefore the preferred battle spell are either the Sprint or the Flicker. Personally I find Sprint more useful than Flicker. Sprint has a lower Cooldown and when used properly, Sprint makes you outrun pursuing enemies easily.
  • Sprint: Immediately increases Movement Speed by 42%. This effect slowly fades over 10 seconds and has a 100 seconds Cooldown.
  • Flicker: Teleport a certain distance in a specified direction. For 1 second after the teleport, duration of disabling effects received will be reduced by 50%. Flicker has a 100 seconds Cooldown.
Gears

  • Enchanted Talisman: Gives +50 Magic Power, +250 HP, 20% Cooldown Reduction and Mana Spring unique passive. Mana Spring gives Mana Regeneration equal to 10% of the Hero's maximum Mana pool every 10 seconds. Enchanted Talisman costs $1,870.
  • Arcane Boots: Gives +15 Magical Penetration and +40 Movement Speed. Arcane Boots costs $740.
  • Ice Queen Wand: Gives +75 Magic Power, 10% Spell Vamp, +150 Mana, +7% Movement Speed and the unique passive: Ice Bound. Ice Bound gives 15% slow down effect that lasts for 3 seconds and can stack up to 2 times when the target is hit by a damaging skill. Ice Queen Wand costs $1,940.
  • Concentrated Energy: Gives +70 Magic Power, 700 HP, unique passive Spell Vamp and passive Recharge. The unique passive gives 30% Spell Vamp and the passive Recharge gives 10% regeneration of one's HP after killing a hero. Concentrated Energy costs $2,020.
  • Holy Crystal: Gives +90 Magic Power, +25% Magic Power and the unique passive: Exterminate. Exterminate: After a skill hits a target, Magic Attack will immediately increase by 15%. The next skill damage will terminate this effect. This effect can last up to 3 seconds with a built-in Cooldown time of 10 seconds. holy Crystal costs $2,180.
  • Blood Wings: Gives +150 Magic Power, +500 HP and the Unique Passive: Nirvana. Nirvana adds 1.5 HP for every 1 point of magic power added. Blood Wings costs $3,000.
Analysis: Craft Enchanted Talisman and Arcane Boots first, this will give you a decent Magic Power, Mana pool and Mana Regeneration during early game. Next is the Ice Queen Wand and Concentrated Energy. The Spell Vamp from Concentrated Energy will enable you to last during clash and continue farming without the need of going home to regenerate. The Ice Bound effect from the Ice Queen Wand is very useful in team fights, not only that you have stun, now you have slow. Finally, Holy Crystal and Blood Wings to increase HP and Magic Power. If you manage to craft these last two, it is guaranteed that you can kill squishy opponents with one combo alone.
Skill Rotation

Eudora's skills deal bonus damage if Superconductor is in effect. The basic combo is Forked Lightning followed by Electric Arrow, then finally Thunderstruck. There are situations however that will not require you follow this skill rotation. For instance, when harassing your opponent, Forked Lightning's longer cast range is better than Electric Arrow. Never be too strict in following this skill rotation, adapt to the situation and seize initiative.

Role

During team fights, your role as a mage is to provide sustained and burst Magical Damage using Forked Lightning or Thunderstruck and provide stun using Electric Arrow. Halt fleeing or advancing opponents with your Electric Arrow. Save allies that are being pursued by stunning the pursuing enemy. Finally, do not be greedy to get the last hit, it is better to unleash your Thunderstruck while you allies are still alive or in the middle of the clash.

Gameplay Tips

During early game, harass your opponent. If you cannot kill your opponent early, make sure to force him out of your lane. Focus on killing enemy minions, money is important. Map awareness is essential, as the game progress, look for every opportunity to change lane and snag your opponents unawares. During mid game, never go alone anymore, always go with one or more allies. Never use Flicker or Sprint unless to pursue fleeing or run away from an opponent. Good decision making is needed to play Eudora, one false move and you're an easy prey. Finally, never be too greedy to pursue fleeing enemy, specially if you have no allies to back you up.
